Brief Summary:
The event allows scouts with level 4 pioneering to achieve level 5 pioneering and meet the bushcraft requirement for the Australian Scout Award (Peak Award).
Additional Information
The Scouts who have already achieved their level 4 Pioneering will collaborate in patrols to undertake specific pioneering construction activities required for level 5 pioneering. These activities include designing and constructing:
- A 5m flagpole
- A camp kitchen (5 kitchen gadgets)
- A ropeless bridge
- 3m long bridge
Additionally, the training will cover using and maintaining axes and saws.
