Sailing Course

This course will be held over successive Saturday's - 20th Oct, 27th Oct, 3rd Nov, 10th Nov, 17th Nov & 24th Nov
9am to 3pm each day - depending on weather, course times may be varied.

Sailing course will be conducted under SIS10 Scout rules.

Sailing boats and PFD's will be provided. Assistance may be required depending on number of candidates For towing of sail boats from Blacktown Scout Hall at Sydney and Boyd St Blacktown.

Candidates should bring change of clothes including swimming costumes/wet suit if available and warm jumper.

Course will consist of instruction of rigging, sailing and some basic navigation.

If candidates have previous qualifications, evidence such as log book or blue card should be brought on day 1.

Food should be brought to the course as there are no shops nearby.

Course will be sailed each day from Angle Park Chipping Norton

Cost is $25 per person per day however if candidate completes 6 days cost will be $100
