Brief Summary:
Long weekend trip to Myall Lakes National Park Mungo Walking Track. Bring opal card and pay on the day for coach and camping fees. Bring own gear and self catering. Plus spending money for a hot meal or two. Walking duration 2 short days, 2 full days, 3 nights camping. Exploring new places. Available to Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, Leaders.

Join us on the school holidays. We are travelling north to visit the Myall Lakes National Park located near Tea Gardens 90 km north of Newcastle. Travel up on Friday, Travel home on Monday. Short walks between campsites on the Mungo Walking Track near the Myall River.

Budget costs. Opal Card NSW TrainLink, Busways regional service Coach ticket and camping fees apply. Approx. $40 Coach plus $30 Camping fees per child. Adult costs are higher. Self catering applies.

Walking distance approx. 30 to 40 km. Participants will be accompanied by an adventurous activity guide or instructor.

Capacity: Limited spaces available (18). Option to board train from Strathfield, Epping or Hornsby.

Transport: NSW TrainLink, Busways Great Lakes.

Track Grade: 4 formed track some obsticles, occasional steps, flat, no experience required.
