Corroboree 2027 is a five-day camp for Scouts and transitioning Cubs aged 10.5 years to 15 years, based out of the Gloucester Showground in the Hunter Region of NSW from 13th to 17th January 2027, during the school holidays.
Venturers are invited to attend as Junior Service Leaders. Venturers will be allocated "Venturer Only" activity times on our Corroboree activities throughout the event. Venturers also have the option of adding to their Corroboree experience by signing up to our newly created Venturer Expeditions. Venturers will arrive at Glucester on Sunday 10 January 2027, with the expeditions running on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th January. More information will be available shortly.
How to travel to Gloucester?
Gloucester is located approximately 3 hours drive from Sydney.
Gloucester has a train station serviced by NSW TrainLink, making this the easiest way for out of region Scouts to attend the event. Tickets need to be booked in advance for TrainkLink services - see https://transportnsw.info/regional-travel for more information. The cost of a ticket from Central Station to Gloucester Station is $24.80 for a youth member under age 16 years (or over age 16 with a valid travel concession card).
What to expect at Corroboree?
The camp is based on the patrol system with units camping Jamboree style across several sub-camps. Scouts and Leaders are fully catered for the event.
Scouts from outside the Hunter & Coastal Region are encouraged to apply and will have the choice of forming their own unit, or being hosted by the local Districts.
Scouts will particpate in activities such as:
