Blacktown / Holroyd District World Scout Day Campover

Brief Summary: You will need to register for two events 

1. GWSR Take over Parramatta

2. Blacktown / Holroyd District World Scout Day Campover

Additional Information:

All scouts will need to bring their own lunch for Saturday & snacks for the weekend. We will provide them with Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast & Sunday lunch.

We will be attending the GWSR takeover of Parramatta Square during the day on Saturday in full uniform. Each scout will need to register for the takeover activity separately to camp, link to the event: https://events.nsw.scouts.com.au/event/3597

All scouts who participate in the overnight camp will complete 1 night under canvas to be used toward their Camping Outdoor Adventure Skills (OAS all levels) progressions and their camper awards. We will also be focusing on some of the requirements for Stage 4 & 5 I statements for both the camping & bushcraft OAS streams. Note: all scouts are welcome to attend as we will work with the scouts at their skill level.

Scouts Need to know / bring:

* Personal sleeping gear & mess kits 

* We will be sleeping in tents and have a campfire 

* Standing camp arrangements

Cost : $15.00 per head (payable in cash upon arrival)
