JOTA-JOTI is the world’s largest digital Scout event taking place online and over the air. The educational STEM event brings together more than 2 million Scouts every year in October for a weekend of Scouting and friendship. Young people can learn about communications technology and connect with fellow Scouts from over 174 countries. 1st Cobargo will again host a weekend camp for all sections, from Joeys to Venturers, full of STEM activities, including the very popular electronics soldering activity, internet and radio activities, radio fox hunting and more.
1st Cobargo will cater for all participants from Saturday lunch to Sunday lunch. Camping will be available on the showground with your leaders. Joeys must have a parent/guardian attending who is an adult member of Scouts NSW if they want to camp. Please note that parents cannot sleep in the same tent as youth.
Electronics kits must be ordered in late August and a cancellation fee to cover their cost will apply once ordered.
Groups who wish to travel to Cobargo on Friday night can camp at the showground from 6:00pm for an additional $10. This covers camping fees and a basic cereal only breakfast. No Friday dinner will be provided. Supervision must be provided by the home group.
Once you have submitted your registration, an invoice (summary sheet) will be generated with instructions on how to pay for this event. The following payment options will be available to you:
