2026 GWS Region Awards Presentation

The GWS Region Awards Presentation recognises those members of Greater Western Sydney Region who have provided service above and beyond to the Scouting Community and have been recognised with a National Adult Recognition Award, Long Service Award or local recognition through a Region Commissioners Citation or the Alan Overton AM Award.

This year, the awards ceremony will be held at the St Marys Leagues Club in a social setting. Food and Drink will be available at club prices. (Please note that while this is a family occasion and youth members may be in attendance, alcohol will be served under the clubs Responsible Service of Alcohol policy.)

Tables will not be pre-allocated for this event and members are encouraged to mingle throughout the afternoon.

Who: All recipients of awards in 2026, Leaders, Family and Friends of GWS Region.

When: Saturday 31st October 20265 - 2pm to 5pm

Where: St Marys Leagues Club

Dress: Members of Scouting - Full Scout Uniform including Awards, Other Attendees - Smart Casual

Please note that due to the high number of awardees, Registrations are open to awardees and two guests as of the 1st August. The registrations must be made in the name of the awardee.  General Registrations will open as of the 1st September 2026.

All members (inlcuidng Children) must be registered in the Event Management System to attend this event as it is booked seating only. Attendees who are not registered may be denied entry based on the number of available seats.
