Additional Information

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THE START/FINISH LOCATION FOR THIS EVENT HAS CHANGED FROM ALPHA PARK TO BLACKTOWN SHOWGROUND NEAR THE GROUNDSKEEPER CAFE**

We have turned key locations within the greater Blacktown area into Monopoly Board Squares. Your teams job is to travel around by foot or train/bus (No Bikes, Scooters or Cars - Sorry Guys) and find each of our key locations.

When you are there, take a photo of your team and send it to us - If you are the first team to arrive, you have the option of buying the location and earning rent from other teams - otherwise you will need to pay rent :(

The team with the most money at the end of the game wins!

Following the event, we will all join together back at the Marshelling Point for a BBQ meal.

Bring your own Lunch, Opal Card and Snacks. Cost of event is for Event Costs, BBQ and trophies.

This year there are 2 divisions in the competition:

Joeys/Cubs - This division is for Joey and Cub Scouts. Youth will be supervised by a leader (to be nominated at time of registration) and will complete in a condensed field around the suburb of Blacktown only.  It is expected that Joeys/Cubs will start at 11:30am and return to Monopoly HQ at 4:30pm. Closing Ceremony will be 5:00pm. (Times are not exact and will be confirmed in your acceptance letter.) Each Unit will need to provide a minimum of 2 Adults (1 needs to be a leader from any section) per 4-7 youth members attending to participate with the team.

Scouts/Venturers/Rovers - This division is for Scouts, Venturer Scouts and Rover Scouts. Youth will not be supervised but there will be adults driving around the course to assist where required.  Teams will need to compete in a full field and will be required to use Public Transport to complete the game board. It is expected that Scouts/Venturers/Rovers will start at 9:00am finish and return to Monopoly HQ at 4:30pm. Closing Ceremony will be 5:00pm.
