AMATEUR RADIO Callsign before JOTA?

Want your Amateur Radio Callsign for JOTA 2 weekends later? This could be your opportunity to make it happen. 

Participants will be constructing a Small Solder PCB to keep, a YAGI Tape Measure Antenna, and a Coax Colinear roll-up backpackable. These are yours to keep. This is on Saturday, whilst you are also learning and fulfilling the practical requirements. Camping over that night, you get to play with the radio and get to experience the great propagation that we are currently experiencing.

On Sunday, you will participate in a Fox hunt in the local park across the road to understand how radio works, get some practice communicating, as well as more experience on air as an Amateur Radio Operator.

Around lunchtime on Sunday, you will sit the exam to complete your weekend, and you will know whether you passed when you leave. With the practical learning you get on Saturday, you should have no problem with the exam.

Every Participant needs to register for themselves. No Group Bookings.

Small enrolment numbers may result in a single-day session. We will notify you when the event closes the week before.
