Brief Summary:
What to do if your party is suddenly missing a person. How to coordinate search and rescue activities. Construct a range of makeshift stretchers. Participate in a distance stretcher carry over a variety of terrains. weekend course Search and rescue covering SISORSC001 and OAS up to stage 9
Additional Information

Search and Rescue exercises in line with OAS stage 9 and SISORSC001 (Conduct Search and Rescues) requirements.

This is not an overnight activity but is run over two days.

We will be running a series of Search and Rescue exercises where participants will have the chance to coordinate a Search and Rescue event.

Course participants will have to come prepared as you would for a days bushwalking supervising a group of youth.

You will need to carry food for out in the field.

You will need a field note book and pencil, 3m of small cord for lashings

The exercises will be over a three and a half square km area in the Camp Coutts region.
