Brief Summary:
Mountain Bike Skills Weekend - A great weekend of Mountain Biking in the Southern Area of our Region
Additional Information

This weekend is for leaders to upskill to Trained Participant so that they can lead safe cycling and mountain bike activities for youth.

The weekend will include mountain biking in Kiwarrak State Forest where participants will only be riding green trails. They will need to be physically capable of riding in excess of 20km for the weekend.

Taree Scout Group have kindly let us stay in their grounds and these costs are incorporated into the event price.

This is a self catered weekend so bring your own food and camping gear so that you are comfortable.

Kiwarrak State Forest includes off-road single track mountain bike trails, so you are required to bring a mountain bike with gears serviced to handle fire trails and off-road activities. Tyres will need to be sturdy enough to manage this terrain.

You will need to bring water, snacks and lunch. Prepare for the equivalent of a Day Hike with pack and include the following items specific to a Mountain Bike trip: -

Helmet

Bike light
