Youth patrols working remotely during the day. Suitably experienced youth. Please check with Tristan if unsure on these requirements.

All participants require a Scouts NSW membership number.

Participants need suitable fitness and health for extended steep climbs with many stairs.

^ Recommend to arrive by road on Sunday afternoon, camp overnight ready for Monday. 

Day 1 (Monday) 8 am Dunphys campground to Coxs River/Jenolan River via Carlon Creek and Breakfast Creek 9 km
Day 2 (Tuesday) 8 am Coxs River/Jenolan River to Dunphys campground via Breakfast Creek and Carlon Creek 9 km

^ short option for youth to be picked up Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning
Day 3 (Wednesday) 8 am Dunphys campground to Explorers Tree via Six Foot Track and Nellies Glen 15.7 km

Dunphys campground end of Megalong road, continue on Green Gully road past Galong Creek ford to campground/carpark. 2WD in dry weather.

Drop pit toilet available at Dunphys campground. Bush toileting and hygiene for the most part. Shallow creek/river crossings. Shoes required for river crossings. Knee height/make sure your pack contents are sealed/watertight in either a 2 garbage bags or pack liner/drybag.

The intended campsite is the Junction of Coxs and Jenolan Rivers. Water can be refilled from Breakfast Creek, recommended to apply treatment.
