Cubs will take part in activities leading up to running some orienteering courses at Gough Whitlam Park, Earlwood. These activities will be run by Orienteering NSW accredited coaches, who all have Working With Children Checks.
What to wear -
- Full and tidy uniform - we will be in public representing the Scouting movement
- Comfortable shoes
- Wide Brim Hat
- Pen or pencil in pocket in case of need for scoring purposes
What to bring in a Daypack -
- Sunscreen
- Opal card (with enough credit) or train fare
- Raincoat / jumper
- All food - morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, all drinks for the day
Leader / Adult / Youth Helpers will be helping throughout the day as directed by Orienteering NSW personnel
9am start for a 9:15am Parade
